I went in to have a tire fixed. I asked if they could have it done that day, they seemed unsure and told me it should be ready Sunday and assured me they were open until 3pm. 2 hours later after I had headed back home they told me it was ready to come get. So we decided to wait until Sunday to pick it up, as he said they would be open till 3pm. I drove about fifteen minutes to pick up my dad and then another fifteen to the bike shop. We arrived at 2:30pm and the sign on the door said "Closed" and underneath read "Closed Sundays". This would've been fine if 1) he would have just told us that or 2) I wasn't in town earlier that day with my dog and happened to see that the store was in fact open. I came in the following day. I greeted him politely and asked what had happened and why they weren't there, He told me he had to go pick up bikes and that it was out of their hands. Even after being set back an hour to drive there and back, the owner showed no intention of offering any kind of compensation for the hassle. I paid and left with a pleasant goodbye only to receive no response. Very bad experience, the owner needs to learn how to treat potential repeat customers. I can most definitely say I won't be going back there and I would highly suggest either of the bike stores in Petoskey over his poor customer service.

We rented five Trek bikes on a recent trip to Harbor Springs. The bikes were incredible for our 20 mile ride and the service was excellent. The gentleman who assisted us was very kind and attentive. I would recommend the shop to anyone! (And I have a husband who used to work in a bike shop who knows good product and good service and he agreed!)

Beware, everyone, this place has a SEVEN day cancellation policy. If you have an emergency, or the weather turns, or you have to leave town early, you will have to pay the FULL rental fee if you can't cancel 7 days in advance. Even if after canceling they rent your bikes to another customer, you get nothing back....essentially, they get paid twice for one rental. There are other choices for rentals in Petoskey.......I gave it one star because I could not post unless I did.

My five-year-old wheeled his Trek bike into the shop hoping to get the tires pumped up and some new handlebar grips. The shop owner did not even give him the time of day. They did not even offer to replace the tires or any service at all. It seems that if you're not a millionaire Harbor'ite wearing yellow pants and driving a Bentley you just don't matter
